Vivo Control was built by integrators who spent years installing systems that half-solved the problem — and decided to build the other half themselves.

ORIGIN

The problem we kept running into — on every installation.

Every community we worked with had the same story. Four vendors. Three platforms. Two spreadsheets. One very frustrated property manager.

The gate ran on one system. The intercoms ran on another. The amenities were managed in a spreadsheet. The cameras fed into a separate DVR nobody knew how to access. And when something went wrong — a lost fob, an unauthorized entry, a visitor who shouldn’t have made it past the lobby — there was no audit trail, no single point of accountability, and no one system that could tell you what actually happened.

We installed access control for years. We recommended the best products available. And we kept arriving at the same conclusion: the best products available weren’t good enough for the communities that needed them most — especially in the Caribbean and Latin America, where no platform was designed for the market, the language, or the operational reality.

So we built one.

Every platform decision at Vivo starts with the resident and the property manager — not the hardware spec sheet. The panel at the gate is a means. The platform behind it is the point.

Bilingual is not a feature. It is a foundation.

Building a platform for communities across the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America and offering Spanish as an afterthought is not bilingual. Vivo is built English and Spanish simultaneously — every screen, every notification, every support call.

Local support in markets where relationships matter.

Remote ticket queues and three-day response windows don’t work when a gate is down and 300 residents are trying to get to work. Vivo deploys through certified local integrators because same-day support is a product feature, not a service tier.

Retrofit first. Construction second.

Most of the communities that need Vivo the most already exist. They have wiring, hardware, and budgets that don’t include demolition. Every Vivo deployment is designed to work with what’s already there.

The audit trail is not optional.

Every entry event, every visitor, every amenity access, every camera event — logged, signed, and exportable. Not because regulators require it. Because communities deserve to know what happens in their own buildings.
